Paul to Play Fund Raiser for Prostate Cancer Charity

Paul and his band, Los Pacaminos will join pop and rock icons from the eighties will take centre stage in aid of Prostate Cancer UK’s mission to save the lives of thousands of men. The gig takes place on 15th March at The 02 Academy in Islington, London.

Squeeze’s Chris Difford, pop legend Nik Kershaw, and Average White Band frontman Hamish Stuart  are just some of the names joining together for a benefit gig to fight the killer disease, which claimed their mutual friend.

The musicians were inspired to get together in memory of their pal, bassist and keyboard player, Matt Irving, who died from prostate cancer in April.  In a poignant tribute, the concert will be performed on what would have been the musician’s 66th birthday.

All proceeds from the concert will go to Prostate Cancer UK as the stars’ contribution to Men United, Prostate Cancer UK’s movement for everyone who wants to beat prostate
