Los Pacaminos – A Fistful Of Statins

  • Release date: 2014-06-30
  • Label: Cherry Red Records
  • Catalog #: CDBRED626

Album Description

LOS PACAMINOS have been treading the boards and bars around the UK and elsewhere for well over a decade now, plying their infectious Tex-Mex brew with good humour and plenty of talent.

The seven-piece band are fronted by PAUL YOUNG, one of our biggest solo stars of the 1980s, who’d first made his name with two other notable live outfits, the Streetband and Q-Tips.

22 years after forming in 1992 and a decade after their debut album, Los Pacaminos return with a long-awaited follow-up!

A Fistful Of Statins boasts the band’s trademark mix of border, Tex-Mex and Americana music that blends Mexico’s Mariachi and Norteno styles with southern American country/blues. Highly recommended for fans of Ry Cooder, Flaco Jimenez, The Texas Tornados or Los Lobos!

The band will be touring to support this release, not least with a launch gig on 28 June at The Half Moon, Putney. Get those margaritas in!

This product is released June 30 2014 and will not be dispatched before this date.
